Jefferson County Parks & Recreation Adopts UTC Assessment

Cacapon Institute, in partnership with Jefferson County Parks & Recreation (JCPRC), has completed an Urban Tree Canopy assessment for all of JCPRC parks. JCPRC has formally approved plans to convert 57 acres of greenspace and other mowed areas to landscape trees, reforestation sites, and grassland bird habitat.
